Rabbit Turtle & Co.
Throughout our research, as we sifted through vintage stamps for research, we found a number of mythical, hybrid beasts who, without explanation for their existence, had a lot
of damn charisma. After asking our client for a couple of their favorite
animals, we developed a Rabbit Turtle. As a nod to the small size of stamps, it
was drawn as a micro illustration using extremely fine pencil and only measures
2” in height. Its size is a testament to the immense detail and craft that
went into its development.
In addition to the Rabbit Turtle, we created two more literal illustrations: one of rice, one of gold.
