Jr & Son is an 85 year old red sauce joint in Brooklyn, restored and reborn in 2025.

Penning a Classic

When we began work on Jr & Son, one thing was for sure: we anted to create a timeless and classsic wordmark—one that conveyed old school warmth and modern Brooklyn swagger.
The result is a bold, hand-drawn script that feels celebratory, nostalgic, and unapologetically Italian-American. The lettering has a confident, continuous flow—evoking classic red-sauce energy and personality over polish.
